TCS will pay up to $72.8 million in cash, excluding management incentives and costs, for a 100% stake in ListEngage MidCo, LLC, along with its subsidiary ListEngage LLC, CNBCTV18 reported.
As per TCS, the acquisition of ListEngage will enhance its Salesforce practice around the world’s, and the Delaware-based firm’s strong partnership with Salesforce, including its membership in the Salesforce Partner Advisory Boards for Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce, will further boost TCS’ Salesforce capabilities.
“This US-based acquisition is an important step in scaling our Salesforce capabilities globally. ListEngage’s AI advisory services, Marketing Cloud capabilities, and Agentforce expertise will enhance our offerings and execution to serve the needs of marketing stakeholders in enterprises. This acquisition will further deepen the strategic partnership that TCS has with Salesforce. We welcome ListEngage’s talented team to TCS,” said TCS Chief Operating Officer (CEO) Aarthi Subramanian.
On the other hand, ListEngage, a Salesforce Summit partner, will get access to TCS’ expansive customer base, and aid in accelerating growth with the help of the Indian IT giant’s global scale and delivery capabilities.
“This is more than an acquisition – it’s a growth platform. By joining forces with TCS, we’re combining ListEngage’s deep Salesforce expertise and proven client success with TCS’s scale, global reach, and cross-industry depth,” ListEngage CEO Altaf Shaikh said.
ListEngage, which specializes in digital marketing transformation through Salesforce platforms such as Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce, currently employs over 100 workers, and reported a $24.3 million turnover in FY24.
Shaikh said the partnership will allow ListEngage and TCS to employ next-gen AI-based solutions to the Salesforce ecosystem. “We will set a new benchmark for how enterprises unlock the full value of Salesforce, powered by data, AI, and cloud innovation. I’m particularly excited about the AI opportunities ahead. Both TCS and ListEngage are leading the way in applied AI, and this partnership allows us to bring the next generation of intelligent, personalised, and outcome-driven solutions to the Salesforce ecosystem at a global scale.”
According to reports, the current power tussle within the Tata Group stems from board appointments, access to information, and Tata Sons’ long-delayed listing plans, which has resulted in a purported dispute between the trustees. A key meeting of the Tata Sons’ board is scheduled to be held on October 10, 2025. (Friday).
