Reliance Industries, India’s most valued domestic firm headed by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is known to hire the best talent in the corporate world which has helped the conglomerate become the juggernaut it is today. A shining example of this is the recent hiring of Kaveri Nag, who has been appointed as the Head of Marketing at Reliance Retail, where she will work closely with Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani.
A seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in Lifestyle Retail, Luxury Auto and Advertising, Kaveri Nag previously served as the Head of Marketing and Public Relations at United Colors of Benetton India for more than three years, before joining Isha Ambani-led Reliance Retail.
An alumnus of the Delhi University, where she earned her Bachelors degree in English Literature, Kaveri Nag is known for her robust expertise in leading diverse stakeholders to leverage technology for future ready initiatives and drive digital transformation and business growth, according to her LinkedIn page.
Kaveri’s key expertise lies Strategic Communications, Stakeholder Management, Business Planning, Digital First Brand Marketing, Annual Marketing Plan, and CRM Engagement Strategy.
In a recent LinkedIn post, Kaveri Nag revealed that she had been appointed as the Head of Marketing at Reliance Retail, where she will work closely with Isha Ambani.
Isha Ambani, the daughter of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, runs Reliance Retail, India’s largest retailer, which is a partner brand of major international brands such as Versace, Amiri, Armani, and Balenciaga, bringing reputed international brands, into the Indian market.
Under Isha’s leadership, Reliance Retail, which has an estimated value of around Rs 8.3 lakh crores, has witnessed exponential growth in a short period of time, opening 3,300 stores across the country in 2023.
Speaking at the recent Reliance AGM 2025, Isha Ambani, who serves as the Director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, said the company’s gross revenue grew by 8 percent to Rs 3,30,943 crore in FY25, and it currently operates a whopping 19,340 offline stores, with a customer base of 349 million across India.
