Oracle recently announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY2025, reporting a revenue increase of $15.9 billion (Rs 1 lakh crore), an 11% increase from the same quarter last year. It had a net income of $3.4 billion (Rs 30,000 crore). For the previous fiscal year, Oracle generated a total revenue of $57.4 billion (Rs 500 lakh crore).
After its strong performance Oracle’s stock skyrocketed by 13.5% in a single day, closing at $215.22 per share. This surge added a huge amount to Ellison’s wealth, taking him to second place in the global rich list.
