Gauri Khan, wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and a renowned interior designer, is celebrated for her remarkable work. Born in Punjab, Gauri is now 54 years old and has made a name for herself by designing everything from Antilia’s bar lounge to the homes of famous celebrities.
Although Gauri stays away from acting, she has created a distinct identity for herself in the industry as a celebrity interior designer. Her clients include some of the most prominent celebrities from Bollywood, as well as the richest businessman in India, Mukesh Ambani, and his wife Nita Ambani.

One of the most famous homes designed by Gauri Khan is that of actor Siddharth Malhotra. She gave his house a unique look with patterns and textures. The walls and the living room have black-and-white striped patterns, while wooden furniture completes the overall aesthetic. Gauri calls this home attractive due to its warm lighting, appealing artwork, and comfortable furniture.
Actress Jacqueline Fernandez wanted a makeover for her Mumbai home and approached Gauri Khan for help. She designed the house that inspired relaxation and freedom at first sight. Gauri Khan also designed the space with comforting and intimate settings, using artwork, floral cushions, and warm lighting that gives the home a serene feel.
Gauri Khan designed the luxurious bar lounge at Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s iconic residence, Antilia. Gauri mentioned that this project was one of the highlights of her career.
Gauri Khan also designed the stunning duplex home of one of Shah Rukh Khan’s closest friends, filmmaker Karan Johar. She gave the space an elegant yet cozy vibe, using lighting, golden elements, comfortable seating, and plenty of plants to create a home that combines old-world charm with a fresh, attractive look.
Gauri Khan designed the stunning apartment of actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, located in the Vastu building in Mumbai’s Pali Hill. The home is a reflection of a luxurious lifestyle, with spacious interiors and European-inspired decor. Into the living area, there are arched doorways, open spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a soothing color palette. A mustard-yellow sofa serves as a striking centerpiece amidst the muted tones used throughout the house, giving it a sophisticated yet welcoming look.
