Sharing his excitement on Instagram, Srikanth posted a photo from the show’s set, featuring fellow judges such as Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, and Jeet Adani.

Srikanth, whose remarkable life story inspired a Bollywood movie starring Rajkummar Rao, is a self-made billionaire despite being visually impaired. His journey is a testament to determination and innovation, making him an ideal mentor for budding entrepreneurs on Shark Tank India.

Srikanth Bolla Beginnings

Srikanth was born in 1991 in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, to a family of farmers. Born visually impaired, Srikanth faced numerous challenges in his early life. Determined to pursue science in his higher studies, he filed a case to gain permission after being initially denied. Eventually, he succeeded and topped his exams with 98% marks in the science stream.

He later became the first international blind student to graduate from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), earning a degree in Management Science.

Founder Of Bollant Industries

In 2012, Srikanth founded Bollant Industries, a company that produces eco-friendly disposable products using natural leaves and recycled paper. Today, the company boasts an annual revenue of over Rs 500 crore (as per some media reports) and employs more than 500 people. His personal net worth is estimated to be around Rs 50 crore.

In 2017, Srikanth was featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list, a significant milestone in his career. Bollant Industries has grown into a major player in the eco-friendly products market, contributing to sustainable development.
