Ritesh and Geetansha first met in 2012 when Ritesh was struggling to make his dream of becoming an entrepreneur a reality. Despite the challenges and limited resources, at one point, Ritesh reportedly had just Rs 30 in his bank account, Geetansha stood by his side. Her support helped Ritesh stay focused on his vision for OYO.

The couple dated for 11 years before getting married, showing their strong bond and commitment to their journey together.

Geetansha Director of Formation Ventures

Geetansha is reportedly a native of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. According to a report by DNA, she serves as the director of Formation Ventures Limited, a private firm registered in Kanpur. The company, incorporated on August 22, 2020, has three directors, including Geetansha, who holds shares worth Rs 1 lakh in the firm.

The couple’s wedding was attended by notable figures such as PayTM’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Lenskart’s Piyush Bansal, and SoftBank’s Masayoshi Son. Before the wedding, Ritesh and Geetansha visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence to invite him and seek his blessings.

In October 2023, Ritesh shared the good news of Geetansha’s pregnancy, posting a heartfelt message alongside a picture of the couple. In his note, he affectionately referred to her as “Geet” and praised her for the sacrifices she made during their journey together.
