Good News For Mukesh Ambani: The USD 100 Billion Club: Ahead of the major festivals, India’s richest man and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has got a Diwali gift as the domestic stock market has witnessed a strong rally. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) jumped 862 points on Thursday. The shares of Reliance Industries rose by 1.69 percent, increasing the net worth of Ambani by USD 1.81 billion (approx Rs 1,59,23 crore). As per the data, the Reliance Industries Chairman’s wealth increased by USD 9.02 billion, as per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, placing him in the 18th position in the world’s richest people list.
Meanwhile, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani’s net worth increased by $1.22 billion on Thursday. With a net worth of $92.3 billion, he is ranked 20th globally and second in Asia. This year, his net worth has increased by $13.6 billion. However, Oracle founder Larry Ellison holds the top spot for the highest earnings this year. Their net worth has increased by $180 billion this year. Nine of the world’s top 10 richest people are from the US. On the other hand, India’s second richest man, chairman of the Adani Group Gautam Adani has also become richer. His wealth is increased by USD1.22 billion on Thursday, boosting his overall net worth to USD92.3 billion. This sudden surge in wealth has put him on 20th position on the richest people list. This year, Adani’s wealth increased by USD13.6 billion.
