Industrialist Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, embarked on a spiritual journey to the sacred Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham in the picturesque state of Uttarakhand, on Sunday. Upon reaching Badrinath, Mukesh Ambani was warmly welcomed by Ajendra Ajay, President of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC). For the occasion, Mukesh Ambani wore a white kurta pyjama that he teamed up with a beige Nehru jacket.
Billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani has reportedly donated ₹5 crore to the Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines. Ambani and his family are known for their regular visits to these holy sites. Last year, Mukesh Ambani, along with his son Anant Ambani and Anant’s fiancée Radhika Merchant, also visited the sacred shrines to offer prayers.
Ambani Family Donations To Temples
In 2022, the Ambani family made a similar pilgrimage to Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham, during which they reportedly donated ₹5 crore to the joint Badri-Kedar Temple Committee (BKTC) that manages both temples.
The Ambanis are renowned for their devotion to religious institutions and frequent visits to holy sites across India. In September, Anant Ambani made headlines by donating a 20-kg gold crown valued at approximately ₹15 crore to the Lalbaugcha Raja idol in Mumbai for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

Mukesh Ambani has consistently contributed to temples across India over the years. In 2023, he visited the Guruvayur temple in Kerala and reportedly donated ₹1.51 crore to its ‘annadanam’ (food donation) fund. Previously, he visited the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh, where he reportedly donated ₹1.5 crore.
