There are no withdrawal fees in this plan. Investors can start with a minimum lump sum or switch-in amount of Rs 500, while any additional contributions must be in multiples of Rs 1. The minimum SIP investment is Rs 500 per instalment, in instalments of Rs 1, with a minimum commitment of six instalments.
This fund is based on BlackRock’s Systematic Active Equities (SAE) approach. BlackRock’s Systematic Active Equities (SAE) approach utilises big data, advanced analytics, and expert experience to provide better investor advice. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) and new technologies to transform information ranging from social media conversations to satellite data into useful investment insights.
The scheme aims to generate long-term capital appreciation through investments. To achieve this, it will invest in equities and equity-related alternatives across various market capitalisations (large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap). However, the scheme doesn’t need to fully achieve its investment objective.
Rishi Kohli, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of GeoBlackRock Asset Management, said, “This is our first active equity fund that utilizes BlackRock’s unique Systematic Active Equity (SAE) approach.” With the support of SAE, the fund aims to deliver long-term value within a disciplined investment process and risk framework that remains consistent across market cycles.
