Every remarkable accomplishment begins with a first step. Success is not random or about timing but rather comes from an abundance of hard work, determination, and the courage to keep moving forward even when the path is uncertain. Read the inspirational story of a man who began to work as a simple office boy at Infosys and was paid Rs 4,000 a month.

Who is the 10th-pass man turning crores in business today?

Despite facing challenges—restricted resources, a humble background, and hurdles at every opportunity—he never let the cards be stacked against him. Through labor, he learned, adapted, and took almost every opportunity to expand his mind. Once earning only Rs 4,000 per month, he now owns the company, Design Template. He is the epitome of ambition and hard work, having gone from a village affected by drought to the recognition of the entire nation.

Which company did he establish after working as a freelancer?

Dadasaheb hails from a small village in the Beed district of Maharashtra, where droughts occur every year and agriculture is difficult. Education was not prioritized by his family. Consequently, he studied only until Class 10 and completed a simple ITI course.

He subsequently shifted to Pune for a job and began working, where he was paid Rs 4,000. Before long, he recognized that a job like that would not last him for life. He then discovered an opportunity to work at the popular tech giant, Infosys, as an office boy with a pay of Rs 9,000. To him, the extra Rs 5,000 was too much, so he hastily accepted the job offer without much consideration.

Since his job was physically demanding, his earnings were limited. While watching other employees working on the computer, he began to understand that doing mental work sometimes resulted in a better chance that would come with greater prospects in the future.

When he questioned if there was a position in computer work for himself, other employees said potential employers would not want to hire him because he had low education. The employees encouraged him to pursue graphic design and animation because the skills were more valuable to employers than a degree. He became focused on pursuing a creative space.

He worked as an office boy at night and during the day was a student doing his training in designing. His commitment and effort gave him success, and within a year, he was a professional designer. He decided to forge his own path and started a company. It was a tough startup, but it did not last, and he returned to his village. In the village, he saw an easy lifestyle and set about to produce his product. He started out of his home on a hill and named his company “Design template”. He worked steadily and found success. His company has steadily grown while continuing to design templates like those from Canva.

Following his successes, Dadarao entered Shark Tank India, where he pitched ‘Design Template’ and was successful in receiving an investment of Rs 1 crore from co-founder and CMO, Aman Gupta, in exchange for 10% shareholding of the company.
