PC Chandra Group inaugurates stall at 48th International Kolkata Book Fair 2025

PC Chandra Group Managing Director (MD) A.K. Chandra inaugurated a stall at the Kolkata Book Fair 2025 on Saturday. In a statement, the group, which runs the renowned PC Chandra Jewelers, said the book kiosk was opened by the PC Chandra Group MD A.K. Chandra, Joint MD Suvro Chandra, Deputy MD Amitava Chandra and Director Prosenjit Chandra.

The group said it was “also privileged to join in the launching of the book Bangla O Bangali by illustrious writer Santanu Basu, depicting an exhaustive view of Bengali heritage and culture spanning decades”. The President, Publishers and Booksellers GUILD,  Tridib Kumar Chatterjee and General Secretary, Publishers and Booksellers GUILD,  Sudhangshu Sekhar Dey also attended the book launch, the statement said.

“We have had an association with Kolkata Book Fair for a long time, and the year was a success again. Our stand was based on Bengal and Bengalis in general,” the statement added.

“The event gained a lot of media coverage, with most publications reporting on our involvement and the importance of our theme.”
