Good news for PM Kisan beneficiaries! The next payment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme is being released today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will send the money during his visit to Varanasi, which is also his parliamentary seat. As per the official information, the 20th installment of the scheme will be given today, August 2, 2025. Around Rs. 20,500 crore will be sent to the bank accounts of 9.7 crore farmers.
PM-Kisan is a government scheme started in 2019 to help small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, eligible farmers get Rs. 6,000 every year in three parts, Rs. 2,000 every four months. The money goes directly into their bank accounts to provide them financial support for farming and daily needs.
So far, farmers have received 19 installments and a total of Rs. 3.69 lakh crore has been transferred to their accounts.
Today, eligible farmers will get the 20th installment of Rs. 2,000 directly in their bank accounts.
To receive the 20th installment of Rs. 2,000 under the PM-Kisan scheme, eligible farmers must complete their eKYC. If eKYC is not done, the money will not be credited to their account.
To get money under this scheme, farmers must meet the following conditions:
