New Delhi: With this rise of young and dynamic entrepreneurs, India is becoming a hub of successful startups. The business sector of the country is flourishing with every passing day simultaneously helping the economy to grow. Among them, Swati and Rohan Bhargava, the founders of CashKaro, are also making a significant impact in the startup ecosystem.

Both Swati and Rohan started off as friend and later got into a relationship. In 2009, their relationship gradually blossomed into a marriage and a business partnership. After marrying Rohan Bhargava, Swati decided to book their honeymoon tickets using a cashback website. The substantial savings they made inspired them to launch their own cashback platform.

In 2011, they started a cashback service website in the UK and named it “Pouring Pounds”. After years later, they relocated from London to Gurgaon, where they adapted their successful model by introducing CashKaro in the Indian market.

It was Ratan Tata and Kalaari Capital, from where they secured funding for their startup. According to an ET report, the company achieved an impressive revenue milestone of Rs 225 crore in 2022.

Talking to Inc42, Swati informed that the company touched an operating revenue of Rs 302 crore for the year ending March 31, 2024. This shows a growth of approximately 21.5% compared to its operating revenue of Rs 248 crore in FY23.

Now, CashKaro is focusing on doubling down on its financial offerings and plans to introduce products such as insurance, loans, and mutual funds, among others. Last year, the startup launched a specialized platform, BankKaro, to support these expansion plans.

In present day, the company is among the largest cashback and coupon platforms in India. It offers exclusive coupons and cashback on over 1,500 websites across diverse categories, providing substantial discounts.

CashKaro is a comprehensive platform offering a wide range of products, such as clothing, accessories, electronics, medicines, groceries, and more. Users can earn extra cashback on every purchase made through the site.
