Reliance Big TV Offer: Pay Just Rs 500 And Get New Set Top Box From Post Office

The set-top box will be equipped with latest features, ranging from USB port, scheduled recording, HDMI port, recording and viewing channels simultaneously.

Reliance Big TV has come up with a new scheme. Under the offer, you can get Reliance Big TV, effectively, for free. This is because Reliance Big TV has entered into a partnership with 50,000 post offices across different cities to provide HD HEVC set-top boxes at the initial price of just Rs 500, which is later refundable.

The scheme will be available through post offices across Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim.

It will offer free channels, including HD, for 1 year and up to 500 (free to air) channels free of cost for 5 years. The set-top box will be equipped with latest features, ranging from USB port, scheduled recording, HDMI port, recording and viewing channels simultaneously.

Set -top boxes will start to be delivered from June 15 and all pre-booked customers will get their set-top boxes installed before July 30. You can start booking from the post office from June 20.

Once the set-top-box and outdoor unit (ODU) gets delivered to you, the balance amount of Rs 1,500 needs to be paid. To avail loyalty bonus, from second year onwards, you need to pay Rs 300 every month for the next two years.  You can then get back Rs 2,000 as cash back in form of recharge.
