The Reliance Jio’s 4G telecom plan includes several other services. Many Reliance applications, music streaming, video calling, messenger and facility to pay your bills will also be coming along. Though other telecom operators like Airtel and Aircel have already launched their 4G services but their services are confined to a limited operating circle. But Reliance with its thousands of LTE (long-term evolution) base stations pan-India, is expected to provide services at a larger scale.

India’s largest telecom operator Airtel was the first telecom company that launched 4G LTE services in the country but its service to limited circles marred the usability. Airtel’s 4G services are limited to Chandigarh, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Pune.

Reliance have been path-breakers when it comes to price of the services, of launching customer friendly and cheaper schemes. Will the 4G services be launched in the higher price range? If-at-all the 4G services are launched on schedule this time, it will be a game changer in the telecommunication industry.
