Adani Enterprises, through its joint venture AdaniConneX, has announced a major partnership with Google to develop India’s biggest AI-focused data centre campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Valued at USD 15 billion (around Rs. 1.25 lakh crore), the project is one of the country’s largest single-location digital infrastructure investments. Over the next five years, it will feature gigawatt-scale computing power, hyperscale AI infrastructure, a new subsea cable landing network, and dedicated renewable energy systems to support clean operations.

According to a joint statement, the upcoming AI hub will be part of Google’s global network of AI compute regions. It will serve enterprise workloads across key sectors such as finance, healthcare, e-commerce, manufacturing, and public services.

The campus will also host a new subsea cable landing station to strengthen global data connectivity from India’s east coast, positioning Visakhapatnam as a major digital and AI innovation hub.
