Sanjay Dutt’s whisky brand, Glenwalk, has recently launched a compact 200ml bottle in Maharashtra, costing only Rs 500. A strategy devised to quadruple their sales in the region. After securing a gold medal at the prestigious 2024 IWS Awards, they aim to leverage their new, pocket-friendly option to expand their customer reach. The addition of a less pricey, smaller bottle is a strategic move by Glenwalk, betting on its potential to lure whisky connoisseurs into giving their brand a sip. It’s all a part of Glenwalk’s larger vision to amplify its footprint in Maharashtra’s bustling liquor marketplace.
Also, Danny Denzongpa’s beer brand is quickly becoming a fan-favorite. All the beers are made by Yuksom Breweries, a company that boasts 11 unique beer offerings. These respective beer lines range from Dansberg Diet, Danzong 9000, and Jhoom, to Himalayan Blue, India Special, and Dansberg 16000, not forgetting Heman 9000, Yeti, Dansberg Red, Hit, and a second India Special Beer option.
Actor Danny Denzongpa is among the few Bollywood celebrities who ventured into the alcohol business long before it became a trend. As of present, stars like Sanjay Dutt and Aryan Khan (Shah Rukh Khan’s son) are also earning significant revenue from their ventures in the liquor industry.
