SBI Account Holders Can Now Shop Without Carrying Cash or Debit Card in Hand, Read to Know More

SBI has made shopping payments easier and risk free with the launch of its SBI Card Pay mobile app. Customers need not pay cash or carry their SBI debit or credit cards while shopping.

New Delhi: The State Bank of India has ensured a risk-free shopping experience for its customers by incorporating provisions that eliminates the need for carrying an SBI debit or credit card and cash for payments, stated a report.

To enjoy this benefit, customers have to register their SBI debit or credit card with the SBI Card Pay mobile app. The SBI has launched this service on its VISA Platform. To know more about the SBI card pay, log onto the official websites of the State Bank of India, i.e., onlinesbi.com or sbi.co.in.

Here’s How to Avail SBI Card Pay Service:

Step 1: Download the SBI Card Pay mobile app on your android or smartphone.

Step 2: Enter your SBI debit or credit card details on the SBI Card Pay mobile app for registration purpose.

Step 3: Now you can make mobile payments by bringing your mobile near the Point of sale (Pos).

As per a report, the android OS or Operating System KitKat 4.4 supports this newly launched SBI service. SBI Card Pay Service is a safer payment mode as it protects an SBI customer from skimming and any other bank frauds including card cloning. Any payment made through SBI card pay mode will be debited automatically from the customer’s registered SBI debit or credit card.

In a bid to provide an affordable shopping experience to its existing customers this festive season, the country’s largest lender SBI has also launched the ‘Debit Card EMI facility’. Under this service, account holders can opt for an EMI tenure of 6 to 18 months, once the transaction is done using SBI debit card. To avail the facility, the customer has to buy the products at 40000+ merchants and stores in 1500+ cities having Pine Labs branded POS machines totaling more than 4.5 lakhs, stated a report.
