If you are a customer of the State Bank of India (SBI) and use online banking or UPI services, this will be extremely important information for you. The State Bank of India(SBI) on Friday announced that it will conduct scheduled maintenance work during the early hours of Saturday, October 11, 2025. As a result of this maintenance work, some digital banking services will be temporarily unavailable during the scheduled period: between 1:10 AM and 2:10 AM (IST).
The downtime is not the result of any technical problem, but it is part of the bank’s regular maintenance. SBI will be engaged during this time in systems upgrades as part of its regular maintenance and enhancements conversants with customer service.
Sharing a post on X(previously Twitter), SBI wrote, “Due to scheduled maintenance activity, our services UPI, IMPS, YONO, Internet Banking, NEFT & RTGS will be temporarily unavailable from 01:10 hrs to 02:10 hrs on 11.10.2025 (60 Minutes). These services will resume by 02:10 hrs on 11.10.2025 (IST).”
“Meanwhile, customers are advised to use our ATM and UPI Lite Services. We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your patience,” the post further read.
A tweet from SBI said the following services would be impacted for an hour: Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), You Only Need One (YONO), Internet Banking, National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT), and Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS). Normal function will resume right after 2:10 AM on October 11, 2025.
The bank stated that users can still use ATM services and UPI Lite for important transactions even though there’s downtime. One should consider sending money, paying bills, and making any online transactions before 1 AM on 11 October. They also recommended using the closest ATMs for these tasks while they complete the maintenance.
