Foreign stock markets fell massively by 3 per cent. US markets ended lower, with S&P 500 down 2.12 per cent, and Nasdaq was 3.26 per cent. Asian market indexes were also in the negative zone; Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 3.20 per cent.

Infosys went down by 1.5 per cent.
Wipro, Coforge, and Mphasisfell by more than 2 per cent each.
