On 2nd July, After experiencing significant fluctuations throughout the trading session, the Indian stock market closed in negative territory on Tuesday. The BSE Sensex finished 34.73 points lower, settling at 79,441.45, while the NSE Nifty declined by 18.10 points to close at 24,123.85.
The 30-share Sensex closed 545.35 points or 0.69 per cent higher at Rs 79,986.80. Nifty50 index too settled higher by 162.65 points or 0.67 per cent at 24,286.50.
