The stock market ended in positive territory on Thursday after a tepid start, buoyed by gains in key sectors and a favourable global economic climate. The BSE Sensex rose by 172.75 points, closing at 77,478.93, while the NSE Nifty edged up by 62.85 points to settle at 23,578.85.

Zomato Shares: Shares of the new-age company traded with gains of 0.89 per cent at Rs 198.7, while at day’s high it scaled to levels of Rs 199.9, just 3.7 per cent away from hitting its all-time high price of Rs 207.3.
At 10:45 AM, TCS shares traded 1.41 per cent higher at Rs 3,840 apiece, after a deal with Zepto.
The microcap stock traded 1 per cent higher around 10:30 AM at Rs 297 apiece.
