After a water crisis in Bangalore, many had expressed their anger and frustrations through various platforms. Businessmen like Zeerodha’s Zerodha’s Nithin Kamath had tried giving solutions to Bangalore water crisis. But the entrepreneur who co-founded a Bengaluru-based company, has slammed the city over bad weather, water & infrastructure and asked ‘Is Mumbai or Pune worth shifting to, or should I just leave India?’
Anant Sharma, co-founder of a Bengaluru-based company, sparked debate on social media when he slammed Bangalore over infrastructure and bad weather and water. He also asked his social media followers if it was worth shifting to Mumbai or Pune.
Anant Sharma wrote on social media platform X “Bangalore looks like it’s gonna go to the dogs in another 5 years with bad infra, bad weather, and bad water. Is Mumbai or Pune worth shifting to or should I just leave India?”

The post by the businessman has been viewed by 376.1K users. Many have criticized him over his remarks whereas others gave him solutions on how to adjust with the city and country.

But disagreeing with him, Businessman replied and said, ‘Been doing that only all this time. Feel like it’s overdue now.’
One user advised him to move out of metro cities and said, ‘’Mumbai has it’s own issues. If you want to move, get out of metro cities. All metros will face even more issues in next 5-10-20 years.’’
But Businessman argued that Bangalore seems relatively noobish and said, ‘Heavy. Do you think other metros are better equipped to handle this kind of growth tho? Bangalore seems relatively noobish to such development in general.’
Whereas one user explained him why shifting to Mumbai can be a better option and said
“If not a kannadiga .. Yes Mumbai is great choice ..
1) More diversified crowd .. Not just Techies
2) Hindi or any language is welcomed
3) Better service from service providers like auto , maid etc .. less tanturms
4) Beaches .. ”
