US Stock Market: Nasdaq ended higher by 102 points or 0.57 per cent at 17,918. S&P 500 up 23 points or 0.42 per cent at 5,620.
Asia Stock Market: MSCI’s broadest index of Asia Pacific shares outside Japan up 1.06 per cent at 574. Japan’s Nikkei 225 up 429 points or 1.13 per cent at 38,381. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is up 60 points or 0.34 per cent at 17,450
