Defence stock Apollo Micro Systems Ltd. once again hit a 5 per cent upper circuit today, i.e. on December 23, 2025. The stock previously hit an upper circuit last Monday. Over the past week, the stock has gained more than 14 per cent.

The stock gained today after the company, in its latest exchange filing, informed that as per the earlier information given on June 2, 2025, 3,80,67,058 warrants were allotted to 30 investors (warrant holders) on a preferential basis.

Now, as per the terms of the warrants, a warrant exercise amount of ₹10,00,008 (Rs 10 lakh 8 lakhs) has been received from investor Piyush Bhupendra Gala. Subsequently, the Securities Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors, at its meeting held on December 22, 2025, has approved the conversion of 11,696 warrants into an equal number of equity shares, i.e., 11,696 equity shares.

After this allotment, the issued and paid-up share capital of the company has increased to ₹35.72 crore.

The company’s stock is trading at Rs 262.15 on BSE and NSE with an upper circuit.

Recently, the company informed exchanges that it has received approval from DRDO for two separate Transfer of Technology (ToT) related to laser-based Directed Energy Weapon (DEW).

The first technology involves a 10 kW multi-channel laser DEW system, developed by Hyderabad-based CHESS Lab. The second technology is an electro-optical tracking system with an EO sensor for DEW, developed by the IRDE lab in Dehradun.

Karunakar Reddy, Managing Director of the company, said that these two technology transfers from DRDO are a significant milestone for Apollo Micro Systems. They will strengthen the company’s capabilities in the field of directed energy weapons and support the Indian government’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” mission to develop indigenous defence technology.
