Bharti Airtel has launched a new International Roaming (IR) plan for prepaid users with a validity of five days valued at Rs 798. This pack will be valid in 189 countries and for the people who will go on short trips abroad. Airtel’s plan is considered as India’s first unlimited IR plan.

Airtel Rs 798 International Roaming Plan Features

  • 2GB data

  • 150 minutes for outgoing and incoming calls (local and to India)

  • Free incoming SMS

  • 20 outgoing SMS

  • Validity: 5 days

International calls during roaming will be charged at Rs 45 per minute while using this plan.

Data Top-Up Options

After this plan is exhausted he user will be charged:

Calls are charged at Rs 10 per minute.

SMS are charged at Rs 5 per message.

Data usage is blocked until the customer purchases an additional data pack, however it will remain valid for the duration of the roaming pack.

Network Compatibility

The IR pack activates when the user connects to an international network in any of the 189 countries covered by the plan and initiates chargeable usage, such as sending an outgoing SMS, making or receiving a call, or using data.

There’s no need to manually select a network upon landing abroad, as the IR pack automatically works across all available operators in the covered countries. Additionally, customers do not need to purchase separate packs for different countries or transit airports, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

Users can manage their international roaming plans through the Airtel Thanks app. The app provides real-time updates on usage, billing, and options for adding extra data or call minutes as needed.
