India’s motorcycle market has got a lot of interesting launches in the pipeline. Every segment from adventure tourers, cruisers, faired sports bikes to commuting bikes are going to have a rich mix of offerings when it comes to the sub-₹5 lakh price bracket. This includes new performance, technology and value for money.

1.BMW F 450 GS: A New Adventure Entry

The bike in question is a middleweight adventure tourer, which the German manufacturer is planning to launch in India in the coming months. Codenamed internally as the F 450 GS, it is the brand’s first adventure bike and will replace the G 310 GS, which is already offered in India. Built at the company’s Hosur plant and co-developed with TVS Motor Company, it was recently unveiled at EICMA 2025. The F 450 GS is expected to be powered by a 420 cc parallel-twin engine that can put out approximately 48 bhp and 43 Nm of torque. Sources say it will be a fantastic all-rounder that will work well for both city commutes as well as on light off-road trails. The new adventure machine is also expected to come with an advanced electronics package including features like cornering ABS, riding modes and a TFT instrument panel while being priced at under ₹5 lakh.

2.Harley-Davidson X440T: Cruiser with a Twist

Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson, in a recent interview, confirmed the production of a new bike that is going to be sold under the former’s badge. The Harley-Davidson X440T is likely to be an updated variant of the X440 cruiser which sold well in the ₹3.5 lakh price segment in India. This is the follow-up to the X440 which has been in high demand since its launch back in 2022. The X440T will have a more aggressive styling than the standard X440 along with additional features and improved dynamics. Reports state that this X440T will include a ride-by-wire throttle and an updated design in the form of additional elements and trims, which will help it appeal to a wider range of buyers who want to ride a cruiser but still like to have a modern tech package as well.

3.Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr: Adventure on a Budget

Brixton Motorcycles’ Crossfire 500 Storr is also expected to arrive in India. The Crossfire 500 Storr is the company’s entry-level adventure motorcycle. The new middleweight adventure touring machine will be powered by a 486 cc parallel-twin engine. The engine is likely to make around 47 bhp and 43 Nm of torque. Expect it to offer a full suite of features like KYB USD forks at the front, preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, a 7-inch TFT cluster and more. A price below the ₹5 lakh segment is also on the cards. In addition, the Indian debut of the Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr might take place during the India Bike Week 2025.

4.KTM RC 390: Sporty Contender

KTM’s RC 390 is expected to get a facelift this year, which will include many upgrades from the newly launched 390 Duke. It’s likely that KTM will introduce the new RC 390 and is expected to retain the same powertrain. This RC 390’s 399 cc single-cylinder engine is likely to generate around 45 bhp, traction control, dual-channel ABS, and ride modes. The engine, chassis, and electronics will likely be a continuation of the existing RC 390. The price is also predicted to be kept similar to the RC 390’s existing price, which should be around ₹3 lakh.

5.KTM RC 160: Accessible Faired Option

KTM’s RC 160 faired motorcycle is a smaller displacement motorcycle with 164.2 cc engine aimed at beginners. It will probably have a sporty appearance and some performance, but without breaking the bank. It will share many components with the 160 Duke. A price below ₹2 lakh is being predicted.
