Top 10 Stocks In Focus Today: Reliance Industries, Polycab, Vedanta, Bank of Baroda, Defence, Telecom, HCL Tech, CDSL

Reliance Industries Stock: Jio has increased its tariffs in its new unlimited plans, effective from 3rd July 2024. 

On 28th June, The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 568.93 points or 0.72 per cent to settle at a new closing peak of 79,243.18 amid the expiry of monthly contracts in the derivatives segment. During the day, it zoomed 721.78 points or 0.91 per cent to hit the new lifetime peak of 79,396.03.

The Nifty ended at a fresh record high of 24,044.50, rising 175.70 points or 0.74 per cent. Intra-day, it soared 218.65 points or 0.91 per cent to hit the all-time peak of 24,087.45.

Stocks to be in focus today, according to Zee Business Experts 

1. Bank of Baroda Stock: Company Shares are to trade ex-dividend today.
2. Dividend Stocks: Aeroflex Industries,Bajaj Holdings & Investment, Dhampur Bio Organics, GIC Housing Finance, Kalpataru Projects, Mawana Sugars, Nippon Life India Asset Management, REC, RPF Life, Swaraj Engines, Syngene, Vaibhav Global and Welspun Corp are some of the other stocks slated to trade ex-dividend today. 
3. KIMS Stock: The board of KIMS is scheduled to meet on Friday to consider a share split proposal. 
4. Sobha Shares: Real estate developer Sobha is all set to launch a rights issue till July 4 comprising 1.21 crore shares at Rs 1,651 apiece. 
5. Defence Stocks: Majority of defense stocks will be in focus today as the centre has allowed an extension in customs duty waiver on the import of some of the components.
6. Telecom Stock: Telecom stocks like Reliance Inustries, Vodafone Idea will be in focus today as Jio has increased tariff charges by 12.5 per cent to 25 per cent effective July 3.
7. HCL Tech Stock: A block deal of Rs 1,757 crore is expected at a floor price of Rs 1,414.9 per share, implying a discount of 2.8 per cent to the last traded price. 
8. BHEL Stock: The company received an EPC order worth Rs 13,300 crore to set-up a 1,600 MW thermal power plant in Koderma, Jharkhand, from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).
9. CDSL Stock: The company in its board meeting slated to be held on July 2 will deliberate over issuance of bonus shares to its shareholders.
10. Reliance Industries Stock: Jio has increased its tariffs in its new unlimited plans, effective from 3rd July 2024. 
11. Polycab Stock: Promoters are likely to sell up to 2.04% stake in Polycab through block deals, according to reports.
12. Vedanta Stock: Vedanta raised Rs 2,500 crore through the issue of non-convertible debentures on Thursday.
