New Delhi: India is home to numerous billionaires who have made significant contributions in their respective fields both domestically and internationally. As part of their investment, they splurge money on various commercial and residential properties. From Mukesh Ambani to Gautam Adani, India’s top industrialists own properties worth thousands of crores. Now, Uday Kotak, the country’s richest banker and former MD & CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank, has acquired a residential property valued at Rs 202 crore.

According to a MoneyControl report, Uday Kotak and his family bought residential property at a three-floor development located in Mumbai’s upmarket Worli Sea Face area. The 12 properties that formed the transaction are located in the Shiv Sagar residential property, according to documents accessed by Zapkey.

  • He is now a non-executive director on the board. He holds a stake of around 25.70 per cent of the bank.

As per the documents, the transactions also include Uday Kotak’s wife, Pallavi Kotak, his sons, Jay and Dhawal Kotak, and his parents, Suresh and Indira Kotak. The total deal covers 7,418 square feet of space, priced at Rs 2.71 lakh per square foot.
