Vande Bharat Express News: With an aim to meet the high demands of tickets ahead of the festival season, Indian Railways has decided to run special Vande Bharat Express and Tejas Express trains from New Delhi and Lucknow to Patna and Chhapra. Every year, during the festive season, Indian Railways witnesses a massive surge in ticket demands. Due to high demand from the passengers and increasing crowding in trains, the Railways has announced the operation of Vande Bharat and Tejas trains on these routes. The fare per person for these trains is over Rs 4,000, yet the trains are fully booked.

All You Need To Know About New Delhi-Patna Junction Vande Bharat Express

• The Vande Bharat Festival Special (02252) which runs between New Delhi to Patna Junction will operate between October 30, 2024, and November 6, 2024.
• This Vande Bharat Express will depart from New Delhi at 8:25 AM and arrive in Patna at 8:00 PM
• The train will run three days a week: Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
• The fare for a chair car from Delhi to Patna is Rs 2,575 per person, while the economy class fare is Rs 4,655.
• All seats for October 30, November 1, and November 3 are fully booked, with only a few seats still available for November 6.

New Delhi-Patna Junction Vande Bharat Express: Route

New Delhi-Patna Junction Vande Bharat Express will leave New Delhi at 8:25 AM and make stops at Kanpur Central at 1:02 PM, Prayagraj at 3:05 PM, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction at 4:50 PM, Buxar at 6:15 PM, and Ara at 7:08 PM, reaching Patna the same day at 8:00 PM.

Vande Bharat Festival Special (02251) (Patna Junction-New Delhi)

• The Vande Bharat Festival Special (02251) from Patna Junction to New Delhi will run between October 31, 2024, and November 7, 2024.
• Vande Bharat Express will depart from Patna Junction at 7:30 AM and reach New Delhi by 7:00 PM.
• The train will operate three days a week: Thursday, Saturday, and Monday.
• The fare from Patna to Delhi in chair car class is ₹2,355 per person, while the fare in economy class is ₹4,410.
• Several seats are available in chair car class for the dates of October 31, November 2, November 4, and November 7, and seats are also available in the economy class.

Vande Bharat Festival Special (02251) (Patna Junction-New Delhi) Route

The train will leave Patna at 7:30 AM, stopping at Ara at 8:05 AM, Buxar at 8:47 AM, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction at 10:20 AM, Prayagraj at 12:10 PM, and Kanpur Central at 2:18 PM, arriving in New Delhi the same day at 7:00 PM.

Lucknow-Chhapra Vande Bharat Express: All You Need To Know

• Vande Bharat Express (02270) from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, to Chhapra will operate between October 25, 2024, and November 8, 2024.
• Vande Bharat Express will depart from Lucknow at 2:15 PM and arrive in Chhapra at 9:30 PM.
• The train will run six days a week (except on Tuesdays).
• The chair car fare from Lucknow to Chhapra is ₹1,780 per person, while the economy class fare is ₹3,125.
• On October 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, and 31, several seats in both categories are still available.

• This will be the first Vande Bharat train to operate on the Chhapra route.
•  The fare from Chhapra to Lucknow for the chair car class is Rs 1,285 per person, while the fare for the economy class is Rs 2,545.
