The sale of Chinese tech company Xiaomi’s low budget smartphone Redmi 4 A’ is exclusively available on Amazon as it has partnered with e-commerce giant to sell the smartphone exclusively on its online platform. Priced at Rs 5,999 the device will go on sale today on Amazon and also on the official website of the company http://www.mi.com/in/. This product is available only on Thursdays from 12 PM to 1 PM on orders placed from http://amazon.in/redmi4A.

Xiaomi today announced the sale of 2.50 lakh plus units of its latest model ‘Redmi 4A’ in just four minutes through e-commerce giant, Amazon. “250,000+ units sold in 4 minutes. Redmi 4A,” Xiaomi India Managing Director, Manu Kumar Jain said in a tweet. Niti Aayog CEO, Amitabh Kant, responding to the tweet said Xiaomi’s future is here in India instead of China. “Pretty obvious that Xiaomi’s future is here in India! Forget China!,” he said in his tweet.
The Redmi 4A smartphone is equipped with a 13MP primary camera with 5-elements lens, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, high dynamic range (HDR), panaroma, 1080p full HD video recording and 5MP front facing camera that captures crisp and sharp pictures.
