2017 is going to be an eventful year for children and people who love watching animated movies. There is not going to be any dearth of good animated content in theaters this year. Right from January till the end of the year you’ll be covered with animated movies that will keep you entertained and eventually tug at your heartstrings. There are a number of sequels coming up as well as new movies from different franchises. From the much awaited The Lego Batman Movie which has already found a fan following with the release of its trailer to Cars 3 and the reprise of the ever- popular Disney cartoon series Ducktales. Despicable Me 3, Cars 3 and The Lego Batman Movie are all going to come out this year. We will get to see Gru and Lucy with their adopted daughters Margo, Edith and Agnes and their army of Minions doing some hilarious antics in Despicable Me 3. Lightning McQueen will get onto the racecourse with his friends Mater and Sally in Cars 3 and is gearing up for challenge from the new and younger cars on the circuit. Many of the movie trailers have already been released and doing rounds on the internet. You might have missed some while you might have bookmarked a few for a must watch. Relax! We have you covered. 1. The Lego Batman Movie (February 10, 2017)– The Batman need to save Gotham city from Joker’s hostile takeover, but in the process must relinquish his lone vigilante thing and try to be a team player and maybe just maybe leran to lighten up in the process. This one is definitely worth a watch.

2. Boss Baby (March 31, 2017) – This film might be the most different movie ever made. DreamWorks Animation invites us to meet a most unusual baby. He wears a suit, carries a briefcase, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec Baldwin and prefers sushi over milk. The Boss Baby is a hilarious story that revolves around a new baby’s arrival in a family and how it impacts the entire family, told from the point of view of his older brother a 7 year old Tim.

3. Smurfs: The Lost Village (April 7, 2017) – In this fully animated all-new take on the Smurfs, Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty go on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does.

4. Cars 3 (June 16, 2017) – The legendary Lightning McQueen is pushed to the sidelines by new generation of cars in the racing circuit. To get back in the game he will need the help of an eager young technician Cruz Ramirez and inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet.

5. Despicable Me 3 (June 30, 2017) – Former supervillain Gru and his wife Lucy returns to continue their adventures with their daughters Margo, Edith and Agnes along with their army of Minions. This third installment proves to be super funny and entertaining with a villain who dances on Michael Jackson’s songs with his moves and has a horrid sense of dressing. (Despicable Me 3 Trailer Released Online: Watch Trailer)
