Actor Aamir Khan aka Mr Perfectionist is one of the most notable actors of Bollywood. To many, Khan is the face of success. Though Aamir turned 53 on March 14, today he completed 30 years in the Hindi film industry. The actor shot to fame in India after he appeared in a Romeo-and-Juliet-like romance three decades ago and yes, we are talking about Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. QSQT was his first film, also starring Juhi Chawla as his leading lady. The film released 30 years ago on April 29 and made Khan and Chawla as the overnight sensations.

After a decade of movies, few as commercially successful as that one, Khan showed his prowess in direction, with the sleeper hit Taare Zameen Par. In his 30 years of film career, Aamir has been a recipient of numerous awards, including four National Film Awards, nine Filmfare Awards, an AACTA Award, while one of his productions, Lagaan, received an Oscar (Academy) Award nomination.
