For her second appearance at the red carpet of the ongoing Cannes International Film festival 2019, actor Kangana Ranaut chose to ditch desi and go more glam. She wore a striking pantsuit from Nedo by Nedret Taciroglu that had embellishment on the shoulder and a plunging neckline that showed a lot of decolletage. This seemed like a powerful look from Kangana’s end who added wet hair and dark eyes to her overall appeal. Kangana looked fierce and absolutely ready to slay.
She has two purposes to be at Cannes this year. Kangana was the part of the launch of the Indian pavilion with Prasoon Joshi, the Chariman of the Central Board of Film Certification and Amit Khare, the Indian Information & Broadcasting minister, at the event. She also represented a popular liquor brand at the prestigious film festival. Her latest pictures from the French Riviera show how she bosses up her style game when it comes to combining fashion with grace and confidence.
Earlier, before she left for Cannes, Kangana talked to the media and revealed that she never shies away from experimenting with her looks whether it’s at red carpets or with her regular outings. She revealed that she was going to wear something at the Cannes that would encourage the weavers of our country. That’s the reason Kangana took that silk Madhurya saree, teamed it with a golden corset by Falguni And Shane Peacock and added a pair of purple evening glove to make her look stand out. The actor worked every bit of that look and once again made sure she was representing India through her fashion pick at the big event.
The other Indian women who rocked the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival 2019 were Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Hina Khan. Deepika represented a leading makeup brand at the event and therefore, she let her heavily dramatic eyes to dominate the look at the red carpet against that giant sweeping train and the huge bow detail on the dress. Priyanka flaunted a rather simple look by wearing a strapless Roberto Cavalli Couture gown that had sparkly detailing and a long train. Hina Khan, who made her debut at Cannes, wore a Ziad Nakad sheer gown. She looked fabulous as well.
