Alia Bhatt recently shared a photo of the handwritten note she received from actor Amitabh Bachchan for her performance in Gully Boy. The actress expressed how grateful she was to be getting something so special from the legendary actor, only she misspelled ‘grateful’ as ‘greatful’. People on Instagram though were quick to tell her in the comments that she has made an honest mistake.

Alia wrote, “Its not everyday you receive a letter from the legend. Greatful” (sic)

The caption had a few grammatical errors but who cares when the feelings are so genuine! The good people on the internet told Alia about her mistake in sweet ways by posting hearts and smileys along with the comment.

She has corrected her post now. Look at this:

Alia has emerged as a terrific performer. Her trajectory has been amazing considering she hasn’t only done out-and-out commercial films but also movies which have been critically appreciated. Her performance in films like Highway (2014), Udta Punjab (2016) and Raazi (2018) have won her several accolades and love from the audience. Now, with Gully Boy, she has once again proved her mettle in the industry. Alia seems to be on a roll at work. Next up her kitty are some other big budget films. She has two Dharma Productions films titled Kalank and Brahmastra. In the former, she has paired opposite her Badrinath Ki Dulhania co-star Varun Dhawan while in the latter, she is working with Ranbir Kapoor.

Meanwhile, Alia is also in news for her rumoured relationship with Ranbir. When it comes to their bond, none of the stars agree to speak a lot about it in the media. However, they don’t even deny their relationship. Both the stars have been quoted talking highly of each other’s craft. Ranbir once went on to say that Alia’s dedication towards her work has inspired him to do better.
