Apple surprised its loyalists with the introduction of a red variant of iPhone 7 and 7plus. The latest model which was unveiled last month and the Apple product is finally available for pre-order in India. The Apple iPhone 7 (Product) Red and the Apple iPhone 7 Plus (Product) Red is up for pre-order in various websites like Amazon, Infibeam and Croma. The Apple product is available in 128GB and 256GB variants on these websites and is prices starting at Rs 70000. Once pre-ordered, the red Apple iPhone will be delivered withing 21 working days according to the terms and conditions of the website. The Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in the red variants are available in the 128 GB and 256 GB formats. The iPhone 7 Red is priced at Rs 70000 for the 128 GB variant and Rs 80000 for the 256 GB variant. While these prices are reflected in Amazon, Infibeam is offering a lowered price of Rs 68999 for iPhone 7 128 GB while the iPhone 7 256 GB is still under the ‘coming soon’ tab. The official website of Croma has the iPhone 7 Plus Red in the 256 GB variant priced at Rs 92000. Amazon also has the 128 GB variant of the iPhone 7 Plus Red at Rs 82000.
The iPhone 7 Red has a 12 MP single camera while the iPhone 7S Red comes with a 12 MP dual rear camera with 2x optical zoom. The front camera for both the phone are at 7 MP and promise to capture the perfect selfies. The phones will be powered by Apple’s new quad-core A10 Fusion chipset and have an HD display.
Apple launched its one of a kind, red variant for the users to experience the classic iPhone experience with a twist. The new iPhones have a social cause attached to them as they are a part of the Cupertino-based company’s Red initiative. The Red initiative funds various programmes that fight against HIV and AIDS in the Sahara area of Africa. The new iPhone 7 variants are rumoured to be available offline by the end of this week, in time for Akshaya Tritiya which is on April 28, 2017.
