Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal continues his unhappy stance in life in criticising the Union Budget 2014. The main Budget was presented today (July 10) by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in Parliament. The Budget focussed on health, education, senior citizens and women’s empowerment. Cigarettes became dearer while the tax exemption limit was increased for individuals as well as senior citizens.
Speaking to the media after the Budget, Kejriwal was very vocal about his disappointment over the plans outlined. He criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he had done nothing to check inflation and rising prices.
