Monalisa is one of the most sought-after actresses of Bhojpuri cinema. After gaining stardom there, she stepped into the world of Hindi television by participating on the popular reality tv show, Bigg Boss. The actress received love from the audience on the show and even got married to her then longtime beau, Vikrant Singh Rajpoot. Later, she began her stint on fictional shows and accepted the offer to play the character of Mohena, a witch or ‘daayan‘, in more colloquial language. Despite being widely criticised for heavily promoting black-magic, Nazar is doing good in terms of TRPs.
