Bigg Boss 12 is witnessing some interesting twists and turns that is keeping the audience glued to the reality show. On October 22 episode, contestants were in for a surprise when Rohit Suchanti made a wildcard entry inside the house with the song Proper Patola. However, the first day itself proved to be a disaster as the contestants – Karanvir Bohra, Sreesanth, Jasleen Mathura, Shivashish Mishra, Dipika and Surbhi Rana showed their shallow side by mocking Rohit’s sexuality. Though Sreesanth was the first one to poke fun at him, others joined him too by laughing at his ‘funny’ joke.
Teejay Sidhu, wife of Kranvir Bohra found the gestures to be too disappointing and slammed the contestants on social media. In her post, she called them out for showcasing a bad role model for the audience.
Her post reads, “Disappointed with the #BiggBoss housemates after yesterday’s episode. How small-minded & nasty to make fun of someone’s sexuality, whether it’s thru words, gestures, mimickry, or just standing at the sidelines laughing. And that, too, with no proof of someone being gay. @ColorsTV.”
Taking a stand against what is wrong, Teejay did not even spare her husband Karanvir and tweeted with another post. She wrote, “Everyone in #BiggBoss is a known face now – is this how role models behave? They shd keep in mind #RohitSuchanti also has a family who watches #BB12. NOT cool @sreesanth36 #JasleenMatharu #ShivashishMishra @kvbohra @ms_dipika #SurbhiRana & everyone else who thought it was funny.”
She further clarified her stance that she is not trying to target anybody but laughing at someone is wrong. In another tweet, she wrote, “Just2 clarify, I am not ‘targetting’ anyone. Some people stood by laughing, which I found equally wrong. Why didn’t anyone assert their strong opinion &say something? I still believe in the best of all HMs and hope they realize this was not nice. #BiggBoss12 #BB12.”
On a related note, Anup Jalota, Shrishty, Saba and Surbhi are nominated for eviction this week.
