Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto was treated to plastic bottles, shoes and rotten tomatoes while he was attending a rally organised in London by the PPP highlighting the Jammu and Kashmir issue. Read: Bilawal Bhutto attacked at the Million March in London
The mob who is believed to be Imran Khan’s supporters shouted slogans against Bhutto and his father Asif Ali Zardari saying that he was using the event for his political career. One of the angry people from the group said, “This march was to be about Kashmir and for the welfare of Kashmiri, Bilawal has no business being here.”Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry who was referred to as former Prime Minister of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) was leading the march when the incident happened.
After the event took an ugly turn, London police intervened and took Bhutto safely out of the place. The All Parties Hurriyat Conference submitted a memorandum to Britain seeking an early resolution to the Jammu and Kashmir issue. The memorandums submitted for the prime ministers of India and Pakistan at their high commissions.
