Oscar Award-winning sound designer and mixer Resul Pookutty was born on May 30, 1971, in Vilakkupara, Kerala, India. The 43-year-old is famous for movies like Slumdog Millionaire (for which he won an Academy Award in 2009), Ghajini, Endhiran, RA.One and Black, and the recent Million Dollar Arm, to name a few.

Soon back to Bombay, there are far too many people waiting for me!”
