Bombay Velvet: Top 5 reasons to watch the Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma film!

Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to take us back to the 1960s with their forthcoming film Bombay Velvet, the trailer of which released on March 19. The film, directed by Anurag Kashyap, is one of the most anticipated movies of 2015. Bombay Velvet is the love story of a boxer (Ranbir) and an aspiring jazz singer (Anushka).

1) Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma on an experimental spree: 

Anushka and Ranbir will be seen romancing each other for the first time and after watching the trailer, it looks like the two are all set to surprise us with their sizzling romance. Moreover, Anushka is taking chances and experimenting with her looks just like her co-star Ranbir! The trailer looks quite promising; however, we will have to wait for the movie to see if it will be one of those masterpieces of Anurag Kashyap. 2) Karan Johar in a negative role: 

Popular filmmaker Karan Johar, who made his acting debut as an extra in Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, now stars in a full-length role in a Bollywood film as an actor. The celebrated director is all geared up to play a badass villain in Bombay Velvet. Will Karan be the next to join the bandwagon of most loved Bollywood baddies? Well, you never know!

3) Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor share seven lip-locks!

It has been reported that Ranbir and Anushka will be seen sharing not one but seven kisses in Bombay Velvet. Woah! Isn’t that a little too much for a normal Bollywood movie? But we can’t wait to watch them set the screen on fire!

4) Cinematography:

The story of Bombay Velvet is of the romance between a boxer an aspiring jazz singer. After watching the trailer, the film may seem like just another Bollwyood flick with a hero, a heroine and a villain, but the cinematography is visually appealing. 5) Anurag Kashyap:

Since Bombay Velvet is an Anurag Kashyap venture, it goes without saying that the film will be worth a watch! The film HAS to be a masterpiece – or at least close to it.
