Following the Indian Air Force (IAF) air strikes on the training camp of terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), news surfaced that Pakistan had captured two Indian pilots.

Now with news emerging that one of the pilots is Wing Commander Abhinandan, twitterati from all over the world tweeted messages for his safe return and for him to be treated with respect by Pakistan. Joining the call for his safe return were Indian celebrities, who stated they stand tall and proud with him.

Anupam Kher’s Tweet:

The air strike by the Indian Air Force was in retaliation for the February 14 attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama, which had left 40 jawans martyred. The attack on the convoy had been carried out by a suicide bomber of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) group that is based in Pakistan. In response to the attack, French Mirage 2000 fighter jets crossed the Line of Control and entered Pakistan’s air space to launch the attacks.

The attack by the IAF jets early on Tuesday hit the biggest training camp of the JeM, eliminating a very large number of terrorists and their trainers.
