Tinder is one of the commonly used dating apps and there n number of profiles on it and there is no doubt that standing out from the crowd is quite challenging. But a British guy named Sam Dixey has smartly conquered the challenge by creating a powerpoint presentation for his dating profile. The 21-year-old who is studying at the Leeds University made a six-slide presentation and titled it as “Why you should swipe right”. In the PPT, he listed out his hobbies and ‘other notable qualities’ and uploaded them in the extra photos section on the popular dating app. There is even a list of “totally real” reviews from people like Leonarda DiCaprio, Times Guide and Donald Trump among others. A fellow Tinder user Gracie Barrow posted the pictures of the hilarious presentation and soon the PPT went viral and received praises for his genius idea.
“Not the worst at sex and makes good pancakes?! Sign me up” one of the Twitter users tweeted. “I’d swipe right just for the presentation skills,” tweeted another. The tweet garnered more than 28,000 retweets and more than one lac likes. He used several pictures and bullet pointers to smartly persuade his potential dates to match on Tinder. Sam told the Press Association that the presentation only took around 20 minutes to make and he started off it as a joke. “I’d have to say it has been pretty successful,” Sam said.
Here are pictures of his presentation:
“Definitely a clear correlation of matches and dates beforehand to afterwards. “Most of the responses tend to revolve around people saying ‘I couldn’t help swipe right 10/10’ but I’ve had some people go the extra mile and message me on Facebook. Plus some people have recognized me outside, in the library and on dates,” he added, as per Breakingnews.ie report. For Sam it was a great success but will the same tactic can help others?
