Sanjana is a model, an aspiring actor and the latest to join the #MeToo campaign as she raised her voice against casting couch in the entertainment industry.

Time and time, we have heard of actresses going through the horrors of casting couch while trying to bag roles in movies. In an interview, Sanjana Anne opened up about her casting couch experience. The actress who is known for her attractive looks, was quoted as saying, “When I started my career in modelling, and was trying for film chances, one of the directors said to me that he wanted to meet me. The director also asked that when could he meet me at the earliest. I thought that he was talking about a role in a movie but he said that I thought you know much about the film Industry. Later, thankfully, one of my friends told me that the director was asking for sexual favours. I said no to the director. Then, the director sent his manager to call me. I went to the director’s office along with my sister and brother. The director and his manager shouted at me and made some cheap comments. Eventually, I warned  the director and also slapped him.”

Though the interview was given long back by Sanjana Anne, it is going viral on social media as she is now the participant of the most controversial reality show- Bigg Boss Telegu Season 2. Sanjana Anne was the winner of Miss Hyderabad beauty pageant in 2016. She was also the winner of Miss Golden Global 2017 beauty pageant.
