The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 10th results were declared on May 29 and the students of Hansi district, Haryana, have passed with flying colours. Around 26 students of Kali Devi Vidya Mandir in Hansi have scored more than 90% marks in the 10th standard results. One of the students of the school named Avni topped the CBSE 10th Result 2018 in the district by scoring 97%. She was followed by Simran, Navdeep who ranked at the second and third position by scoring 95%.
Avni aspires to become a software engineering and Navdeep aims to become a doctor. Around 161 students of the school appeared in CBSE’s Class 10th board examination, and believe it or not but all the students have passed with excellent marks. Along with Principal of the school Kusum Ahuja, the management committee of the school congratulated the school staff, parents, and appreciated their hard work the students put up during the exams.
In the CBSE class 10th results that was declared on Tuesday, the pass percentage of girls stood at 88.31%, and the pass percentage of boys stood at 78.99%. In CBSE’s Class 10th exam results, a total of 86.70% of children passed, which is 4.25 percent less than last year.
A total of 2,824,734 students registered themselves for CBSE board exams this year. Out of which, 16,38,428 candidates appeared for class 10 examination.
The differently-abled candidates performed well this year. Anushka Pandey of Suncity School, Gurgaon topped the results by scoring 489 marks out of 500.
Prakhar Mittal from Gurugram, Rimjhim Agarwal from Bijnor, Nandini Garg from Shamli, and Sreelakshmi G. from Cochin topped the examination by scoring 499 out of 500.
