Avenger‘s Captain America played by Chris Evans is loved by the fans and a farewell to the character will definitely leave them heartbroken. Evans took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to bid farewell to Captain America. Expressing his gratitude for having to play the character of eight years, he wrote, “Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honour. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”
Evan’s tweet has left his fans emotional as the tweet received 322,626 retweets and 1,281,374 likes. Many have expressed their feeling on biding goodbye to one of the important characters of Avengers. Among those who commented was Deadpool’s Ryan Reynold and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Reynolds is one of the fans of Captain America expressed his grief and wrote, “I’m not crying. I’m weeping. There’s a difference.” Meanwhile, The Rock wrote, “What a run you had brother. Congrats on breathing life into such an iconic character. Keep on keepin’ on .”
However, Rumours suggests that many characters will be retired and will not be seen in the last film. Marvel’s fanbase is happy to know that Captain America will be seen in Avengers 4 and this is one of the happy news for Captain America’s fans.
