Popular blogger and reality show Ace of Space star, Danish Zehen passed away on December 20. The boy had a great fan following with around 876K followers on Instagram, which rose to 1.5 million after his death. However, Instagram has now deleted Zehen’s account. This has irked his fans and family, who are constantly tagging Instagram, asking the team to reinstate his account.
His mentor and reality show contestant, Vikas Gupta also took to the social media to request people to help Zehen’s family reaching out to Instagram. Apparently, while his family members have written to Instagram, there has been no response from the team of the app. Vikas took to Instagram and posted a short clip as a tribute to Danish Zehen from MTV India. He wrote, “Tribute by @mtvindia for @danish_zehen. It’s a request to @instagram to please reinstate #danishzehen Instagram account. His family has sent emails and tried contacting but there is no response so far. This is very important for his family and people who love him. Please share this and tag @instagram on comments so that they take into notice. His brother is trying a lot from his side but I think when the number of people increase they will have to notice and take an action. #Coolestbadboi #zehen #aceofspace My #houseguest P.S. please come together to help his family #lostsouls.” (sic)
Not just Instagram, Zehen’s followers on YouTube have also increased from around 328K to around 550K. More popularly knows as the ‘bad boi’, Zehen had entered Ace of Space as a wild card entry and became audience’s favourite in no time.
He died in an accident on Sion-Panvel Highway in neighbouring Navi Mumbai in the wee hours today, the police said. The 21-year-old was driving back to Navi Mumbai after attending a wedding in Kurla when he lost control of his car and it hit a roadside wall around 12:30 am, reported PTI. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Zehen’s brother who was travelling with him sustained injuries and is still undergoing treatment. May his soul rest in peace!
