Film television personality Ekta Kapoor was honoured with Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Ladies Organization (FLO) Icon Award at the 31st Annual session of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at New Delhi. President Ram Nath Kovind was the chief guest at the event and felicitated Ekta Kapoor with the FLO Icon Award.
President Ram Nath Kovind delivered the keynote address at the session of FLO. He recommended members of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) to make start-ups by women an integral part of their value chains as vendors, ancillaries, suppliers, and distributors or in any other form. He emphasised, “Our corporate sector must take determined steps towards creating women-friendly and gender-sensitive supply-chains to empower women in our economy, rather than just accommodate them.”

During the session, Ekta Kapoor was felicitated along with other eight Indian women achievers for excellence in their fields of work.
