Game of Thrones Season 8 has become a talk of the town since it premiered its fifth episode. With Daenerys Targaryen burning down King’s Landing into ashes, the fans are coming up with different theories. Now the latest fan theory suggests, almost two decades ago, iconic TV show, The Simpsons had predicted the penultimate episode ‘The Bells’ of GoT and it definitely left us surprised.

As it turns out, the scene of Daenerys’ dragon going on a rampage to burn down the King’s landing has been foretold by The Simpsons in the year 2017. The Simpsons had aired an episode called ‘The Serfsons’ which was supposed to be a parody of Game of Thrones. In the episode, the family gathers and looks at a village getting turned into ashes and yes by a dragon.

Once again, The Simpsons predict something that has left us surprised and we don’t know how they get it right each time.

Now, Twitterati is reacting to the theory. One user wrote, “The Simpsons predict the future yet again” while the other commented, “The writers of #GameofThrones The Simpsons seem to get it right.”

Earlier, in the last episode, a Starbucks cup left on a table during a scene became the talk of the town. A visible coffee cup can be seen on a table next to Daenerys Targaryen during a celebration feast at Winterfell, the aftermath of the battle between the Night King and his Army of the Dead. Many of them took a screenshot to grab the funniest moment with their hilarious and wittiest comments.

In the latest episode, Daenerys goes on firing carnage as she blows up the King’s Landing. Major characters, Cersei Lannister, Jamie Lannister, Qyburn, The Clegane Brothers, Lord Varys, Euron Greyjoy die in the episode.
